Teen Academy: Experience with Science

The Faculty of Biotechnology of Porto Regional Centre, of the Universidade Católica Portuguesa, is organising the summer course "Experiment with Science" in July, from 11 to 15, between 2.30pm and 5.30pm, which offers a week of activities organised around the study areas of nutrition, microbiology, bioengineering, the environment and biomedicine.

Throughout these days there will be experiments to do in the laboratory, conversations with experts, visits to research projects and the planting of a tree.

OBJECTIVES:

To explore in a practical way some central themes in the graduation of Bioengineering, Microbiology and Nutrition Sciences.

Target:

Students who have finished or are finishing 10th, 11th or 12th grade.
