T4EU | Workshops on Service-Learning with Professor Robert G. Bringle

On 2 and 3 June, the Universidade Católica Portuguesa is holding the 3rd workshop on Service-Learning, as part of Transform4Europe, on the Porto campus and online.

The workshops will be led by Professor Robert G. Bringle, Chancellor's Professor of Psychology and Philanthropic Studies at Indiana University Indianapolis, one of the leading international references in the field of Service-Learning.

These sessions aim to support teachers in deepening their knowledge of Service-Learning, as well as in designing pedagogical practices centred on civic and community involvement.

The workshop 'Service-Learning and Civic Engagement’ will be held on 2 June, with the aim of exploring the different forms of community involvement and their connection to higher education.

The workshop ‘Pedagogical Aspects and Curriculum Design in Service-Learning’ will take place on 3 June, focusing on the pedagogical principles of the methodology and its curricular integration.
