The School of Arts is organising the Spring Seminar from 7 to 9 May, and the full programme can be found here.

Curatorial processes — across the most diverse artistic fields — have increasingly become central to contemporary artistic research practices. This is not an entirely new movement, but it has become more visible as the curator’s role proves decisive in mediating the relationship between artistic works and the community. As a result, the notion of curatorship has expanded beyond the visual arts into other fields, such as cinema and critical thought.

In this Spring Seminar, we will explore curatorial practices through case studies, reflections on the history of curatorship, and experiences with new curatorial approaches — especially in areas where curatorship is now taking on a central role.
