SimSchool PreMed | 12th Edition

Católica Medical School of Universidade Católica Portuguesa presents SimSchool PreMed, an intensive and immersive course that takes place at the Hospital da Luz Learning Health simulation center and will allow participants to participate in different experiences in clinical areas.

During these days, participants will have the opportunity to practice approaching patients in medical consultations and also in the emergency room in a safe and controlled simulation environment. Participants will be able to acquire basic fundamentals and execute essential techniques for managing these cases and, in critical situations, apply CRM (Crisis Resource Management) principles that will contribute to improving teamwork skills such as communication and leadership.
