The Institute of Health Sciences of the Universidade Católica Portuguesa organises the Seminar "Palliative Care and Religion: Meanings and Interventions", on the 4th June.
Framed within the scope of the Master's Degree in Palliative Care and Post-Graduation in Paediatric Palliative Care, the seminar aims to share the meaning of suffering / pain / life / death in the context of each religion and the strategies of religious intervention / accompaniment in this phase of the clinical trajectory of patients and their families.
Programme:
9:00 a.m. - Opening session with Ana Mineiro
09:15 a.m. - Statements by representatives of the different religions
11:00 a.m. - Coffee-break
11:15 a.m. - Discussion
12:00 a.m. - Final conclusions and closing session
