Seminar "PAIN AND RELIGION: Meanings and Interventions"

The Instituto de Ciências da Saúde of the Universidade Católica Portuguesa organises, within the Post-graduate programme in Pain, the Seminar "Pain and Religion: Meanings and Interventions" with the purpose of sharing the meaning of pain/suffering in the context of each religion and strategies of religious intervention/follow-up regarding this phenomenon.

Program:

• 09:00 - Opening Session with Professor Alexandre Castro Caldas
• 09:15 - Statements by representatives of the different religions
• 11:00 – Coffee-Break
• 11:15 - Discussion
• 12:00 - Final conclusions and closing
