Seminar: "Mutations and Viruses: Engines of Gut Bacterial Evolution"

Católica Medical School is organising the seminar ‘Mutations and viruses: Drivers of the evolution of intestinal bacteria’ on 29 May at 12.30pm.

The seminar will be attended by Nelson Frazão and presented by Paula Ravasco.

Nota: Nelson Frazão holds a degree in Biology and Genetics from the University of Lisbon and conducted his PhD research at the Instituto de Tecnologia Química e Biológica (ITQB) in Portugal and The Rockefeller University in the United States. He later carried out postdoctoral work at the Radboud Institute for Health Sciences in the Netherlands, focusing on the virulence and epidemiology of Streptococcus pneumoniae.
