Seminar - Justice of the Peace: new challenges

The Seminar - Justice of the Peace: new challenges, takes place on 24th May 2022, 6pm, online, within the 11th edition of the Bootcamp course and the Post-Graduate course in Negotiation, Mediation and Conflict Resolution of the Faculty of Law (Porto School), of the Universidade Católica Portuguesa.

The Seminar will be attended by Renato Gonçalves, Deputy Director General of the Directorate General of Justice Policy, who will make an assessment of the functioning of the Courts of Peace, regulated in Portugal since 2001.

As a guest speaker at this seminar João Chumbinho, Justice of the Peace and Coordinator of the Justice of the Peace of Lisbon, which for its extensive experience and work developed will give to know the advantages and challenges that the Courts of Peace face today, particularly after the pandemic context that still exists.
