Seminar "Faith and Science: Frontiers of Knowledge"

In the first two months of 2020, the Pastoral da Cultura de Braga is organising, in partnership with the Museu Pio XII, the Faculty of Philosophy and Social Sciences and the Faculty of Theology of the Universidade Católica Portuguesa, a Seminar entitled "Faith and Science: Frontiers of Knowledge". The seminar, which will be divided into 4 sessions, will be attended by professionals from different scientific areas, promoting reflection on issues alluding to the theme "Faith and Science".
The cycle of conferences will begin on January 17, with the presence of the Jesuit physicist and priest, Bruno Nobre, who will address the question: "Can science offer a final explanation of reality?
The seminary will take place at the Museu Pio XII on 17 and 31 January and 14 and 28 February at 9 p.m. Participation is free, with online registration required. The seminar will also be credited as a teacher training action.
