The Seminar "Experiences of political and religious resistance", the third of the cycle "Citizenship, democracy and reformism", will take place next June 23, at 3 p.m. The session will be attended by researchers Pedro Silva Rei from the Institute of Contemporary History, University NOVA of Lisbon (NOVA), Centre of Religious History Studies (CEHR), Universidade Católica Portuguesa; Luís Leal from CEHR, UCP; and Marianela Valverde from História, Territories and Communities, NOVA.
The cycle of seminars, organised by CEHR is part of the research project " April 25th: permanences, ruptures and recompositions", which seeks to "study the problematic of "April 25th, permanences, ruptures and recompositions", seeking to make a historiographical balance 50 years later: what is known and what is not; promote the meeting and raise common reflection among researchers in the field of Contemporary Religious History; allow the presentation of new research, with particular attention to the work of younger researchers; deepen reflection on the issues surrounding the societal and mental process, which occurred between 1968 and 1976 and marked by internal and external mutations. "
