Seminar "Childhood Poverty and Education: an (in)visibility?"

The PhD and Master's programs in Social Work of the Faculty of Human Sciences promote the seminar "Childhood Poverty and Education: an (in)visibility?", on February 24, in online and presential format.

The latest data from the Survey on Living Conditions and Income (ICOR_INE/EU- SILC Eurostat 2022) point to a worsening of living conditions and income in Portugal.

This seminar will promote reflection on the area of education, the effects of family income on children's school performance and their educational path, as well as on poverty as a factor of exclusion in education.
