SDG MEETINGS

Wednesday, November 26, 2025 - 09:00 - Wednesday, November 26, 2025 - 12:00

Sala 511 | Católica Lisbon School of Business and Economics | UCP | Lisboa - Sede

The SDG Observatory in Portuguese Companies, promoted by CATÓLICA-LISBON School of Business & Economics, is organising the SDG Meetings — an event dedicated to exploring how companies can integrate the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) into their sustainability reports and corporate strategies, in light of the new requirements of the CSRD (Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive).

This event will take place on 26 November, from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.

In a context where sustainability reporting has become more technical, regulated and demanding, this event proposes a return to the essentials: understanding how Agenda 2030 and the SDGs continue to offer a universal language of purpose, impact and competitiveness for companies of all sizes.

The programme will be divided into three complementary parts:

1️⃣ Status report from the SDG Observatory in Portuguese Companies;

2️⃣ Two panel discussions with companies and consultancies — sharing experiences on how different sectors are responding to the challenges of CSRD and integrating the SDGs into their reporting, strategy and organisational culture;

3️⃣ Practical workshop: “How to include SDGs in business strategy and reporting” — participatory session to identify implementation pathways and best practices for transforming reporting into a tool for management and value creation.

This is a unique opportunity for companies, consultants, academics, and decision-makers to reflect on the role of SDGs in the future of corporate sustainability — and position themselves at the forefront of the 2030 Agenda.

This event is part of the programme for the 1st Sustainability Week at the Universidade Católica Portuguesa.
