Tuesday, June 22, 2021 - 09:30 - Tuesday, June 22, 2021 - 13:00
Online
In the context of the international Project "F-ATLAS - Franciscan Landscapes: the Observance between Italy, Portugal and Spain", the Portuguese team, which gathers researchers from the Centre for Religious History Studies (UCP-CEHR) and from DINÂMIA'CET (ISCTE-IUL), promotes a scientific meeting, which will take place at the Faculty of Theology of the Catholic University of Portugal-Porto on June 22.
The meeting will have a public part during the morning (09h30-13h00), followed, in the afternoon, by a meeting reserved only for the Project's research team. The aim of this event is to make the project known and, more specifically, to discuss the very emergence and expansion of the observational movement between Galicia and Portugal in the fourteenth and fifteenth centuries and its inscription in the broader context of southern Europe. On the other hand, new methodologies will also be presented regarding the implantation and inscription in space of these communities, their patrimonial legacy and their reuse over time.
Given the current circumstances arising from the COVID 19 pandemic, the meeting will take place in a mixed way, with a small group present at the UCP premises and other participants who will intervene or can attend via zoom. We take the liberty of sending you the program for the meeting, which we hope you will enjoy.
Participation is free and can be accessed by zoom.
