Science Communication Workshop

University of Silesia is organizing a Science Communication workshop in reference to Silesian Science Festival under the title "What does Poland’s largest science festival look like behind the scenes? Silesian Science Festival in a nutshell", on October 22 and 23.

During the workshop, participants will discover the inner workings of organizing the Silesian Science Festival – from the first ideas, through program development and collaboration with partners, to spectacular events and accompanying activities. We will show how science communication is combined with promotion, logistics, and inclusivity. A key part of the workshop will be a hands-on session where participants will learn how to create engaging popular science descriptions – ones that can capture the interest of both students and the general public.
