Safeguarding in Sport Conference: Protecting Athletes from Abuse

The Postgraduate Diploma in Sports Law is organising the conference Safeguarding in Sport: Protecting Athletes from Abuse, which will take place on 20 March at 6.30pm online.

This event aims to promote an essential debate on safeguarding athletes and the need for effective mechanisms to prevent abuse in sport.

The event will be attended by Michele Colucci, from the Ethics Unit of the European Commission and Honorary President and Founder of the Italian Association of Sports Lawyers.

The event will be moderated by José Manuel Meirim, lecturer at the Faculty of Law - Lisbon School of the Universidade Católica Portuguesa.
