The Universidade Católica Portuguesa hosts, at its headquarters in Lisbon, the conference "The risk society: how to manage the insecurities of the future?", organised by the Público newspaper, on 6 June at 2.30 p.m.

The concern for an uncertain future and geopolitical insecurity are some of the reasons that lead the Público newspaper to promote the discussion of these issues in a conference that brings together guests to debate and reflect on what is currently happening in the world.

The initiative hosted by UCP will be moderated by Sónia Sapage, Executive Editor of Público, and will have the participation of Isabel Capeloa Gil, President of the Universidade Católica Portuguesa, Joana Silva, professor at the Católica Lisbon School of Business & Economics, Pedro Isidoro Silva, student at the Faculty of Human Sciences, André Santos Pereira, sociologist, and Jéssica Domingues, cyber security specialist.

The conference will be held in a hybrid model, allowing to reach the academic community, invited to be present in the room, and all internet users that follow Público, via streaming.
