Photography exhibition “Echoes in Concrete”

Católica Medical School Library presents “Echoes in Concrete”, a photography project by Bruno Cardoso, on display from November 10 to January 28. The exhibition invites visitors to take a closer look at the gestures, rhythms and presences that shape the everyday life of a community. The opening will take place on November 10 at 5 p.m.

Drawing on a rigorous and sustained approach to observation, closely aligned with the research method, Bruno Cardoso brings together images captured over five years at Católica Medical School, revealing the understated beauty of seemingly ordinary and fleeting moments. The photographs on display form a sensitive archive of shared life: similar mornings, familiar routes, brief encounters, silences, anxieties, quiet triumphs or simply the passing of another day. Each image reminds us that the spaces we move through every day are not merely concrete structures, but places shaped by memories, experiences and shared time.

Through a visual journey that intertwines observation, memory and community, “Echoes in Concrete” invites visitors to recognize the poetic dimension hidden within routine and rediscover the human presence in the familiar settings of academic life.

Admission is free and open to both the academic community and the public, promoting inclusive access to art and culture.
