CADOS – Católica Doctoral School, reinforces its commitment to the well-being and holistic development of its doctoral students by promoting the PhD Mental Health workshop cycle. Recognising that mental health is a vital factor for human development, academic success, and the production of high-quality research, this initiative places care for the individual at the centre of the doctoral experience.

The second session of this workshop cycle will take place on 4 February 2026 at 4 p.m., with the theme ‘Overcome Doubts: Impostor Syndrome’.

Grounded in Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and aligned with the UCP2MentalHealth initiative, the cycle provides a safe, experiential, and supportive space where students can develop practical strategies to manage stress, navigate academic demands, clarify personal and academic values, strengthen self-regulation, and build meaningful peer connections.

Across six online sessions, participants will:

  • Learn evidence‑based techniques to manage stress, anxiety, and academic pressure.
  • Clarify and align their personal and academic values.
  • Develop time‑management and organizational strategies driven by meaningful priorities.
  • Strengthen self‑care routines to cultivate long‑term well‑being.
  • Build a supportive, collaborative community across different PhD cohorts.
  • Develop commitments and action plans for their future goals.
