PEREGRINATIO 2026 Meeting: “Narratives”

The inaugural meeting of the First Cycle of Colloquia «Encontros PEREGRINATIO» organised by the Centre of Religious History Studies of Universidade Católica Portuguesa on May 28, 2026, will be dedicated to the theme “Narratives” bringing together researchers Elvira Fidalgo Francisco (University of Santiago de Compostela), Carlos Clamote Carreto (NOVA FCSH), and Paulo Catarino Lopes (NOVA FCSH).

This first session thus aims to reflect on the narrative forms associated with the practice of pilgrimage in a medieval context.
