Open Lecture | Network of Care: Community Resources in Child and Family Care

In the open lecture “Network of Care: Community Resources in Child and Family Care”, promoted by the Schools of Nursing of the Universidade Católica Portuguesa, the role of community resources in supporting children and families will be explored, within the scope of the Master’s in Child and Pediatric Health Nursing.

How can healthcare professionals effectively identify and mobilise the resources available within the community? What responses are currently in place, and how can they contribute to a more coordinated intervention centred on the needs of children
and their families?

These and other key questions will be addressed in a session designed to foster reflection and the sharing of experiences among healthcare professionals, contributing to improved referral processes and more informed decision-making.

The session will bring together specialists from different fields and institutions, with additional speakers to be confirmed.
