Open Class - Promoting Hope in the Care of Children/ Young People with Special Health Needs

On March 4, 2021, from 4.30 p.m. to 8.30 p.m., an Open Class of the Master of Nursing in the area of specialisation in Nursing for Children and Pediatric Health - "Promoting hope in the care of Children/Young People with Special Health Needs", will be held with Professor Zaida Charepe (Nursing School (Lisbon) - Instituto de Ciências da Saúde).

Participants:

• Postgraduate Nursing students at ICS-UCP (Doctorate, Master's and Postgraduate Degrees);
• Other Nurses and Health Professionals;
• Professionals or Students from other areas with interest in this subject.

Program:

• Introduction to the topic
• Promoting hope in the processes of illness and hospitalisation of children / young people with special health needs
• The Therapy of Hope: a strategy of individual and group intervention aimed at parents / carers / families
• Conclusion of the lesson. Evaluation
