On May 18, 2020, at 17h00, the online conference "The legislative procedure in Portuguese constitutionalism" will take place. Two former students of the law degree (Porto) of Universidade Católica Portuguesa, currently Members of Parliament, Mrs. Catarina Rocha Ferreira and Mr. Pedro Sousa, will participate.
The subject under discussion will concern the legislative procedure in Portuguese constitutionalism. Issues relating to legislative procedure in general, i.e. the process of making laws of the Assembly of the Republic, as well as current issues under parliamentary discussion will be addressed. Also participating in the debate will be the professors of Constitutional Law of the Faculty of Law, School of Porto, UCP, Dr. Catarina Santos Botelho and Master Marta Vicente.
