One-Day Winter School for the Doctorate in Nursing

The Faculty of Health Sciences and Nursing at the Universidade Católica Portuguesa (UCP) will hold a One-Day Winter School, as part of the PhD in Nursing, an initiative developed in partnership with Boston College and supported by FLAD funding – UP Higher Education Program 2025-2026, within the scope of the LINK – Leadership in Nursing Knowledge Exchange project.

The program will feature Victor Petreca professor from Boston College, as well as Jaqueline Fawcett as a guest speaker.

This initiative is part of a broader strategy of collaboration between UCP and Boston College, which provides for faculty and student mobility and the promotion of academic activities. The partnership is supported by FLAD, which encourages pedagogical innovation, internationalization, and the exchange of knowledge between institutions of excellence.

The Winter School is thus an important milestone in the consolidation of transatlantic cooperation in the field of nursing, contributing to the advancement of science and the training of highly qualified professionals.
