Music, Sound and Memory

Universidade Católica Portuguesa presents the second music-themed conference organised by the Research Centre for Communication and Culture (CECC), on the theme of "Music, Sound and Memory", which explores the complex links between auditory experiences and cognitive functions, and how these can be explored through a cultural dialogue.

This conference aims to explore multidisciplinary approaches in the fields of Music Studies, Culture Studies, Literary studies, Sound Studies, and Memory Studies, and is organized by CECC PhD students Thales Alecrim and Mário J. Avelar and lecturer Sara Eckerson.
