Master of Science in Nursing Webinar Series: Tissue Viability and Wound Care in the Different Areas of Nursing Specialization

As part of the Master in Nursing, the Nursing School of Porto of the Universidade Católica organizes a Cycle of Webinars, which aims to address different issues and challenges of today, taking into account the areas of specialization of the master's course.

Synopsis

Wound healing is a crucial part of nursing care, and the techniques and knowledge applied can vary significantly according to contexts and relate to the various areas of expertise. Tissue viability, prevention, and the most current methods in wound care are extremely relevant topics for nursing professionals.

In this webinar, we will explore best practices in wound care in various settings and from the perspective of various specialties, including pediatrics, geriatrics, mental health, oncology, emergency nursing, among others.

The lecturer will be Dr. Paulo Alves and the moderator will be Dr. Constança Festas, coordinator of the branch of Child Health and Pediatric Nursing in the Master's Degree in Nursing of the UCP.

In this webinar that will take place on June 15, 2023 at 17h00 we will reflect on how we are, where we want to be and how to make this path.
