Luca Argel: Maps of a Sad Man

On April 16 at 8:00 PM, School of Arts once again welcomes artist Luca Argel for a Dashed Concert titled Maps of a Sad Man.

In this solo concert, featuring voice and guitar, Luca Argel brings together two central themes of his recent work: the book *Meigo Energúmeno*—notes for an anti-macho reading of Vinicius de Moraes—and the theme of his new album, *O Homem Triste*. Through song and spoken word, Luca offers a sensitive and critical exploration of masculinities, the emotional education of men, and the place of vulnerability in love, friendship, and daily life. Featuring original songs, annotated readings, and reinterpretations of Vinicius de Moraes’s songbook, this intimate concert creates a space for closeness and reflection, where affection is embraced as a political gesture and silence transforms into music. A delicate and profoundly timely proposal that invites the audience to rethink what it means to feel, to fail, and to care—for oneself and for others.

Art + Tech x Cosmos =
The program brings together artists, creative technologists, curators, writers, and thinkers whose contributions span various thematic constellations: from the spiritual and the mythical, to socio-technological infrastructures and (de)colonial logics, to speculative futures. Through these contributions, the program explores the potential to reshape how we think about human and non-human creativity, how we experience the convergence of art and technology, and how their imaginative possibilities can inspire new cultural practices and worlds.
