On June 16, at 4:30 p.m., Professor João César das Neves will give an online class for all high school students interested in the areas of Economics and Management.
João César das Neves is a Full Professor, with a doctorate and a degree in Economics from CATÓLICA-LISBON. He teaches in the areas of Economics and Business Ethics in the Undergraduate, Masters, Executive Programs and The Lisbon MBA. He is also President of the Ethics Commission of CATÓLICA-LISBON, where he was President of the Scientific Council. He was Advisor on Economic Affairs to Prime Minister Aníbal Cavaco Silva from 1991 to 1995, Advisor to the Minister of Finance from 1990 to 1991, and Senior Technician at the Bank of Portugal from 1995 to 1997.
His research focuses on the areas of: poverty and development, economic cycles, development of the Portuguese economy, and ethics. Author of more than 30 books and multiple scientific articles, he is a regular commentator in the media.
