The lecture ‘Literature and the Freedom to be Free’ will take place on 13 February at 4.30pm in the Exhibition Room, with the participation of Isabel Capeloa Gil.
This lecture is part of the PhDnet symposium of the PhD in Culture Studies.
Founded by the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD), the "Literary and Cultural Studies" PhDnet, headquarters at the Justus Liebig University (JLU) in Giessen, constitutes an international network spanning JLU, the Finnish Graduate School for Literary Studies and the doctoral degree programs in literary and cultural studies at the University of Bergamo, the Faculty of Human Sciences at Universidade Católica Portuguesa, the University of Stockholm and the University of Graz.
The PhD Net Program, integrated into the Doctoral Degree Program in Cultural Studies, incorporates the following activities:
- Jointly awarded Doctoral Degree (Universidade Católica Portuguesa and the Justus Liebig University, Giessen);
- Joint doctoral degree seminars;
- International conferences open to students at the five partner institutions;
- Mobility between the teaching staff at the five partner institutions.
