KNOWLEDGE | Women-led Entrepreneurship: Challenges, Learnings and Opportunities for Impact

CATÓLICA-LISBON organises the next Knowledge @CatólicaLisbon Digital Conference on May 27, at 5 p.m., under the theme "Women-led Entrepreneurship: Challenges, Learnings and Opportunities for Impact".

The empowerment of women and the support for women entrepreneurship and leadership is one of the priority areas for CATÓLICA-LISBON, because of the fundamental role that women play in promoting economic progress and societal development. For this knowledge conference, CATÓLICA-LISBON brings the testimony and wisdom of three exceptional entrepreneurial leaders: Chitra Stern (Martinhal Resorts and Edu Hub), Alexandra Machado (Girl Move Academy) and Joana Rafael (Sensei). With moderation of Professor Céline Abecassis Moedas, the conference will discuss what motivates women to find new ventures (be it impact ventures, tech ventures or new service ventures), what are the main challenges in the entrepreneurial journey, key learnings and opportunities for development and impact. Information about the network – Nice: Women Entrepreneurs and about the Católica Women Entrepreneurship Award promoted by our Center for Technological Innovation and Entrepreneurship will also be shared.
