KNOWLEDGE | Online Academies – Demonstration Session

CATÓLICA-LISBON organises the next Knowledge@CatólicaLisbon Digital Conference on May 25, at 12 a.m., under the theme "Online Academies | Demonstration Session”.

In the last 14 months we have seen how professionals have continued their skills development, adjusting their training to new market conditions. Although we believe that we will be able to return to a degree of normality in the near future, it is also certain that there is a large segment of these that, after having experienced the convenience and effectiveness of remote training, will never go back to the old ways.

CATÓLICA-LISBON will introduce a disruptive concept, adjusted to this new market dynamics: the Online Academies. This disruptive product leverages the distinctive factors of winning business models like Netflix or Spotify, introducing the model of continuous consumption, on-demand, to the education sector - not like Coursera or Udemy, which make all their content available in video or reading formats, but combining convenience with what Universities are best at: the interaction with specialized professors and collaboration between participants.
