Kick-off event of the Communities of Learning and Practice

The Católica Learning Innovation Lab launches a new initiative, the Communities of Learning and Practice (CAP), on March 22 at 5:30 p.m. with an online session.

The CAP aim to provide professors at Católica with the opportunity to join an online group or community, which will explore new pedagogical methodologies and strategies in the following areas: transversal pedagogical empowerment, learning through digital, peer-to-peer learning, service-learning and problem and project based learning.

The first part of the launch event is open to the whole academic community and will be attended by Isabel Vasconcelos, Vice-Rector of Universidade Católica.

The guest speaker, Karen Matthewman, from University College, London, will be responsible for addressing the concept, advantages and challenges inherent to Learning Communities and Communities of Practice.

The second part of the programme is reserved for professors enrolled in CAP.

Professors interested in participating in the initiative should fill in this form until 17th March.
