The Centre for Religious History Studies is organising the Workshop "On the 400th anniversary of João Delgado Figueira's "Reportorio": sources and methodologies for the study of the Goa Inquisition".
This workshop aims to reflect on the still unexplored potentialities of a document as rich as this one, as well as on the figure who drew it up.
Other types of documents sent from the State of India to the Lisbon Inquisitorial Authorities will also be discussed, with the aim of reflecting on the possibilities of documentation that has long been known or that has been neglected to date.
