ESB Innovation Day 2022: Emergent Technologies in (Bio)Products Innovation

The Faculty of Biotechnology, of the Porto Regional Centre, Universidade Católica Portuguesa, organises the event Innovation Day 2022: Emergent Technologies in (Bio)Products Innovation, which aims to present advances, internal capabilities and discuss new technologies to support agriculture, food processing, circular economy to biomedical, on 8 July at 9am.

The implementation of emerging technologies and automation can enable greater productivity and sustainability for businesses and ensure higher quality for the consumer.

The industry is dynamic. Consumer needs are changing, and it becomes inevitable that the industry meets those needs and eventually grows with them. In recent years, the agri-food industry and others have increased market value, but also growing challenges, notably a growing impact on the environment linked to the need for increasing productivity associated with a growing population.
