In the next session of the Laudato si' Year, entitled Echoes and Views on Laudato si', we want to give voice to students (Undergraduate and Master) who reflected on this inspiring text from their area of specialisation, that is, Political Science and International Relations, Languages and Culture and Theology.
The session will present the following perspectives:
- Andreia Leitão (3rd year CP&RI - IEP), Caring for the Common House in the prism of the "New Wars";
- Maria Ana Baranda (1st year LEA - FCH), Laudato si' in the prism of the Sustainable Development Goals;
- Miguel Serra (Master of FT), Caring for the Common House from the perspective of Moral and Religious Education.
This virtual round-table discussion will be moderated by Professor Mónica Dias, of the Instituto de Estudos Políticos (IEP).
After the students' insights, a time for debate follows, with two members of the "Caring for the Common House" Network Juan Ambrosio, from the Faculdade de Teologia (FT), and Inês Espada Vieira, from the Faculdade de Ciências Humanas (FCH), who is also vice-president of the CRC, Centro de Reflexão Cristã, to close the session with the echoes of this meeting.
The session takes place on March 24, between 12 noon and 1 p.m., through Zoom.
Registration is free and is available here.
This session is organised in partnership with the Centro de Reflexão Cristã and the Rede Cuidar da Casa Comum.
