Cycle of Webinars of the Master's Degree in Nursing: Touchpoints Model - Contributions to nursing care

Within the scope of the Master's Degree in Nursing, the Nursing School (Porto) of the Universidade Católica organizes a Cycle of Webinars, which aims to address different issues and challenges of today, taking into account the areas of specialization of the Master's course. 

Synopsis
The neonatal period is particularly important for the development of the baby and parent-child relationships and a key moment for the family-nurse relationship. The Touchpoints model defines predictable moments in child development that unfold in various dimensions and constitute periods of vulnerability for the child and family - the 2nd "touchpoint" (newborn) is one of the most striking of this model. Allied to these fundamentals is the conviction that these moments ("touchpoints") are affirmed as opportunities for professionals to intervene and, consequently, to consolidate their support relationship with parents.

In this webinar we will reflect on how we are, where we want to be and how to make this path.
