Conferência ​COLLOQUIA 2026

The Institute for Political Studies at the Universidade Católica Portuguesa presents the conference "Restless World, Restless Democracies", which will take place on 8 May 2026 at the Universidade Católica's Lisbon campus.

This international conference offers an in-depth reflection on the contemporary challenges facing democracies in a context marked by geopolitical instability, growing conflicts and a loss of trust in institutions. Rather than focusing on isolated crises, the event explores “political unrest” as a structural condition that simultaneously affects domestic politics and the international order.
