Conference | Purpose-Driven Companies: Caring for People, Transforming Organisations

The International Day for the Eradication of Poverty is marked on 17 October and this date will be celebrated with the conference ‘Companies with Purpose: Caring for People, Transforming Organisations’ at 9am.

This day is an opportunity to reaffirm our collective commitment to social justice and the dignity of all people. In this context, ACEGE - Christian Association of Businesspeople and Managers, in conjunction with the Faculty of Human Sciences, is organising this public session, which aims to raise awareness of a pioneering project for multidimensional diagnosis and intervention in the workplace, promoting the involvement of companies, social organisations and academic institutions.

The aim of this conference is to present the preliminary results of the study based on the Semáforo methodology, reflect on the role of companies as agents of social transformation and formalise new institutional commitments with partners associated with this initiative.
