Conference "Catholic Universities in the United States: challenges and transformation"

The Universidade Católica Portuguesa is organising the Conference "Catholic Universities in the United States: challenges and transformation", with Rev. Dennis Holtschneider, President of the Association of Catholic Colleges and Universities (ACCU), on 24 November, at 3 p.m.

The guest speaker is an expert in sponsorship and governance, and holds a PhD in higher education policy from Harvard University, where he lectures on governance and strategy in higher education. 

Having served as president of DePaul University, the largest Catholic university in the US, from 2004 to 2017, he now chairs the Secretariat of the National Association of Independent Colleges and Universities (NAICU), as well as the boards of the Institute for Advanced Catholic Studies at the University of Southern California, the National Pastoral Migration Office and the Institute for Global Homelessness.
