Colóquio «Do Reino à República: uma nova igreja num país em transformação»

The Centre for Religious History Studies of the Catholic University of Portugal (UCP-CEHR) joins the Diocese of Vila Real and the program of celebrations of its Centenary, in the organization and scientific coordination of three symposia with the general theme "The Diocese of Vila Real (1922-2022): 100 years in the life of a Church".

The first of these conferences, "From the Kingdom to the Republic: a new Church in a country in transformation", will take place on April 17th, and has the objective of making an approach to the historical-religious context in which the diocese was created, as well as deepen some aspects that had an impact on its configuration and development. Due to the pandemic situation in which we find ourselves, it will be held online and with prior registration (free of charge).
