"Climate Change Challenges: Nursing as Innovation"

In the context of the project "MAIEC- Community Empowerment and Nursing Decision-Making" hosted at the Center for Interdisciplinary Research in Health at UCP, the first congress will be held, on 28 and 29 October, with the evidence produced in the four areas of the project: "MAIEC and School Communities", "MAIEC and Hospital Communities", "MAIEC and Environmental Processes" and "MAIEC and Observatories of Nursing Diagnoses". Researchers and collaborators of the project will be the voice of this evidence, in these various contexts.

The Congress will include the International Meeting "Challenges of Climate Change: Nursing as Innovation", featuring distinguished national and international speakers from the areas of Biology (Doctor Ulisses Miranda Azeiteiro from the University of Aveiro), Architecture (Doctor Robert Ryan from the University of Massachusetts, EUS), Nursing (Drª Maria João Costa, CIIS FCT scholarship holder) and Politics (Drª Inês Sousa Real, PAN MP). There will also be an international conference, given by the world reference in Community Empowerment and Public Health, Dr. Glenn Laverack, from the University of Trento, Italy.
