Católica Talks - Anti-competitive practices in the digital and labour market

The Faculty of Law - Porto School of the Universidade Católica Portuguesa, is organising Católica Talks on "Anti-competitive practices in the digital and labour markets" on 11 May at 11.30am.
This Católica Talks, with the participation of Vicente Bagnoli, focuses on anti-competitive practices in the digital and labour markets that have been the subject of investigations in Brazil and Portugal. There will be a brief introduction to Brazilian competition law, as well as brief reflections on anti-competitive practices in the digital and labour markets in the light of the experience of CADE (the Brazilian competition authority), also taking into account Portuguese and EU practice.
Vicente Bagnoli, Professor at the Mackenzie Presbyterian University Law School, holds a doctorate in Philosophy and General Theory of Law from the University of São Paulo Law School (USP), a master's degree in Political and Economic Law and a bachelor's degree in Law from Mackenzie Presbyterian University. He is a visiting researcher at the Max Planck Institute for Innovation and Competition in Munich, Germany (Post Doc). Since 2010 he has practised law in the area of Competition Law, recognised and awarded by various international publications.
