Book Presentation: “Lições de Direito Digital”

Nuno Sousa e Silva, a faculty member at the Porto Faculty of Law, will present his book “Lições de Direito Digital” on May 19 at Universidade Católica, Porto Campus.

Published by Almedina, the book addresses some of the most current and relevant legal issues in the Digital Age, exploring in a clear and accessible way various legal challenges associated with the use of Information Technologies. Among other topics, it covers the protection of software and databases, Artificial Intelligence, e-commerce, data protection, fundamental rights in cyberspace, and the liability of digital platforms.

The presentation will feature the author, alongside faculty member Pedro Cerqueira Gomes, and Fábio Castro Russo, partner at Morais Leitão, Galvão Teles, Soares da Silva & Associados.
