Aurora · Yohei Yamakado

The School of Arts, of the Porto Regional Center, Universidade Católica Portuguesa, organize the exhibition Aurora  by Yohei Yamakado from September 22 to October 21, curated by João Pedro Amorim.

Yohei Yamakado was in artistic residency at Escola das Artes at the end of 2019, during which time he prepared a film project based on the reading of O Marinheiro, by Fernando Pessoa. Since 2021, she has been directing the film with the same title with the support of the Criatório program, from the Porto City Council.

In Aurora, Yohei Yamakado presents a composition of visual and sound works that accompanied him or that emerged during the production of the film.
