The S.Lab (Service Management Lab) at Católica Porto Business School is organising a seminar led by Martin Spring, Professor of Operations Management at Lancaster University Management School (LUMS), UK. The seminar will focus on the theme of AI-based technologies in law and accounting.
AI-based technologies offer great potential benefits for law and accounting firms. But many firms, especially mid-tier and smaller, have been reluctant to adopt them. Based on the findings from the Technology in Professional Services (TiPS) innovation adoption accelerator in the United Kingdom, the seminar will explore some ways of thinking about potential application areas for these technologies, identify benefits - both intended and unanticipated – and explore the challenges of adoption from an organisational perspective.
Participation is free, but registration is mandatory.
