3rd CBR Day PhD Students Symposium

The third Católica Biomedical Research Centre Day, scheduled for June 6, will take place in the Main Auditorium of the Católica Medical School (CMS) of the Universidade Católica Portuguesa.

This year's CBR Day is particularly special as it features presentations by doctoral students showcasing their innovative research projects. The CBR Days, which are held biannually at the Faculty of Medicine, aim to promote interaction between the various CBR groups and publicise the research and activities promoted by the CBR to the CMS community and the national and international scientific community.

Brian Lazzaro, Liberty Hyde Bailey Professor at Cornell University and Director of the Cornell Institute of Host-Microbe Interactions and Disease, will give the main seminar at 12:00.

Joana Corrêa Monteiro, researcher and professor of Ethics, Philosophy, Literature and Education at the Nova School of Business and Economics and the Católica Medical School, will also take part in a special seminar.
