1st Seminar on Nursing Care for People with Inflammatory Bowel Disease

The School of Nursing of the Porto Regional Centre of the Universidade Católica Portuguesa is organising the 1st Seminar on Nursing Care for People with Inflammatory Bowel Disease on 27 July at 8.45am, in a hybrid format.

The aim of this seminar is to promote dialogue between various players involved in treatment, research, health and disease management and nurse training.

People diagnosed with IBD and their families face complex demands in the day-to-day management of their lives. The disease predominantly affects young people and causes severe limitations in personal, social and professional life and in interpersonal relationships.
