1st International Colloquium "Emergence and Time"

The Centre for Philosophical and Humanistic Studies at the Universidade Católica is organizing the 1st International Colloquium "Emergence and Time", from September 5 to 7, at the University campus in Braga.

The colloquium addresses the relationship between emergence and time, with philosophy, psychology, cognitive sciences, linguistics and physics as its target disciplines.

Is time fundamental, or are there more basic aspects of the world over which time overlaps? These are the questions the event seeks to answer.

Karen Crowther, Christian Wüthrich, Vera Sinha, Chris Sinha and David Yates are the keynote speakers.
