The following conditions must be met cumulatively:


A - To have completed an educational degree:
1. That is equivalent to the Portuguese secondary education
OR
2. To have an educational qualification that grants access to higher education in the country of origin.


B - To hold one of the following items, as ranked below:

*Final exam for secondary education at the country of origin that may be considered as a legal equiva­lent to the required exam for the program you wish to apply to (please see https://diariodarepublica.pt/dr/detalhe/deliberacao/674-2025-918884641)
  1. Passing grade at the secondary school subject in your home country that may be considered as an equivalent to the required exam for the program you wish to apply to;
  2. admissions exams in Portugal that are required for the program you wish to apply to (please see https://www.ucp.pt/sites/default/files/2025-11/Folheto_JOL_EN_2025_26_AF.pdf)
