Católica Lisbon School of Business and Economics and Católica Porto Business School are part of the elite group of 1% of business schools worldwide holding the prestigious Triple Crown accreditation — awarded by the three leading international accreditation bodies: AACSB, AMBA and EQUIS.
The Universidade Católica Portuguesa is institutionally accredited by the Agency for Assessment and Accreditation of Higher Education - A3ES. A3ES was created by the Portuguese state with the purpose of promoting and ensuring the quality of higher education (Decreto-Lei n° 369/2007, de 5 de Novembro). The assessment and accreditation regime to be developed by the Agency is defined by the Lei n° 38/2007, de 16 de Agosto.
