CITAR - Research Center for Science and Technology of the Arts is pleased to announce the 21st International Consciousness Reframed Conference, held at the Universidade Católica Portuguesa - Porto, from June 6th-8th, 2019.

  Universidade Católica Portuguesa is hosting the 21st Solidarity Concert of the Association of Friends of Santa Maria Hospital (AAHSM) on January 26 in the Cardeal Medeiros Auditorium at the UCP headquarters in Lisbon. The event includes a concert by the University of Lisbon's children's choir and a brief explanation of volunteering at the AAHSM.  

The 22nd edition of the Alexis de Tocqueville Lecture will take place on October 25, 2022, with Mário Pinto as speaker. The solemn ceremony of awarding diplomas and academic distinctions is annually organised by the Institute for Political Studies of the Universidade Católica Portuguesa (UCP).

On 8 November, the Institute for Political Studies (IEP-Católica) will hold the 24th Annual ‘Alexis de Tocqueville Lecture’ and the IEP Diplomas and Awards Ceremony. The event, which is characterised by being one of the IEP-Catholic's most solemn moments, will take place in the Cardinal Medeiros Auditorium at 18:00.

  From 19th to 21st of May, the 25th anniversary of the European Master in Food Studies (EMFS) is celebrated, and to mark the date, a Meeting will be held at the Faculty of Biotechnology, Porto Regional Center, Universidade Católica Portuguesa on May 20th.

The 2nd CBR Day, an annual event of the Católica Biomedical Research Centre, will takes place on the 19th of October, in the Main Auditorium of Católica Medical School, Universidade Católica Portuguesa.

Under the theme "Innovation, Sustainability and Regeneration", the 2nd Conference of INSURE.hub, a partnership between Católica Porto Business School, Escola Superior de Biotecnologia and Planetiers New Generation, will take place on November 17th at the Porto Regional Centre.

The CLIL | Católica Learning Innovation Lab team is organising the 2nd Cycle of Pedagogical Workshops. There will be 25 workshops (22 online and 3 face-to-face) that will promote reflection and sharing on pedagogical innovation in Higher Education, challenging UCP teachers and researchers to implement new practices in their classes.  The deadline for registering for this 2nd Cycle of Workshops is 29 January 2024.

  The School of Nursing in Porto at the Universidade Católica Portuguesa (UCP) organises a series of themed seminars every year on professional experiences in areas where nurses work, in order to enable its final-year students to make their future choices on the basis of reliable information about professional practice.
